On Friday, I saw a preview of the Watching You, Watching Me group exhibition at the Open Society Foundations in New York City. The show features my Blue Sky Days drone project and nine other visual artists around the theme of surveillance. The show opens to the public on Tuesday Nov. 4 and will be visible though May 8, 2015.
Leading up to the opening, images from Blue Sky Days were featured in The New York Times, TIME.com and MSNBC.
My portion of the show features a video installation of drone footage and 12 gelatin silver prints made from 4 x 5″ negatives on an analog black-and-white enlarger in Paris. Each print is 100 x 66 cm (40 x 26 “).
