I occasionally teach masterclasses and workshops for small groups. The latest opportunities are posted below as they become available. These classes tend to fill up quickly, so it is best to reserve as early as possible.
You may also request a private one-on-one workshop. Personalized coaching sessions that can focus on overcoming career challenges or on developing specific skills, such as mastering drone photography or the wet plate collodion process. I hire assistants for specific project work. Potential candidates should send a CV, letter of motivation and website. I'll keep all top-level candidates on file for future opportunities.
Internship opportunities for college students and graduates are occasionally available. Interns should be prepared to serve part-time for three to five months. Candidates will be selected by their organizational skills and proficiency in editing software. Interns will gain skills in research, project management, and editing.
I've partnered with the Pulitzer Center for educational outreach in dozens of schools. Through the Radius Donation Program, my books are also donated to underfunded libraries. I also lecture at universities and academic conferences, and I am available internationally for speaking engagements.
